GREATER BIRMINGHAM MARRIAGE INDEX 1776 - 1837The parishes covered by this Index are: All Saints Aston Edgbaston Frankley Handsworth Harborne Kings Norton Northfield Sheldon St. George St. Martin St. Philip St. Thomas Yardley A few Quaker references are also available. The Index only gives the names of the two people being married, the year or date of the marriage and the parish where it took place. Some entries may give other details, for example, whether widowed, from another parish or if by Licence, but this was not a requirement when the registers were transcribed for the Index. The original registers for the parishes covered by the Greater Birmingham Marriage Index are kept at the Central Reference Library, Chamberlain Square, Birmingham.
